PBA MANILA – For towing their teams to the 2018 PBA Governors’ Cup finals, Alaska Aces’ Mike Harris and Magnolia Hotshots’ Romeo Travis were the frontrunners in the conference’s Best Import race.Harris, a former NBA player with Houston Rockets and Utah Jazz, was leading the way with averages of 30.31 points, 20.69 rebounds, 2.81 assists, 1.13 steals, and 1.00 blocks per outing.Travis, who was eyeing his second PBA Best Import plum, was not far behind with averages of 24.5 markers, 14.8 boards, 4.81 assists, and 2.0 steals until the end of the semifinal round.While reigning two-time Governors’ Cup Best Import winner Allen Durham and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Kings’ Justin Brownlee were close behind, winning the individual plum was a long shot, with their teams bowing out in the semifinals.
